Two interesting bits of sci-fi news today… First, there’s going to be a remake of The Prisoner, possibly with Christopher Eccleston (recently the 9th Doctor) as Number 6. Second, the original versions (or at least versions that aren’t the special editions) of the original Star Wars trilogy are coming out on DVD.

In completely unrelated non-sci-fi news, the most recent 45 I got is a promo copy of a Dave Clark Five “Good Old Rock & Roll” medley. And since previous bonuses have established Ebb as a record collector, here’s a bonus photo of him with it!

In today’s bonus sprite strips, there’s some discussion about how the Plant got rid of the invading monsters – Floyd discusses it with Linton and Prentis, and a rumormonger discusses it with the Plant!

The Rumormonger Idol results will be coming up in the next couple of days.

Two more sprite strips today continue the continuing story of the monsters who came to take over V3 – Linton tries to stop them, and so does the Plant! (Who do YOU think will succeed?)

Something from the “Why haven’t I done this before?” department… I was thinking of setting a new Windows background image (I have a tendency to leave default ones up for far too long), and it occurred to me that I’ve never made a Station V3 one. So I thought maybe with a little tweaking the second panel from this year’s first strip could work as one…
