The results for the 2007 Web Cartoonists’ Choice Awards were announced online today!

Station V3 wasn’t nominated for anything (and neither were Z7 and Ebb’s Children), I missed sending in any nominations (email problems), and my voting link email apparently got zapped by Verizon’s spam filter (twice!) – but there were a lot of good comics nominated. Congratulations to the winners (some of whom I would have voted for)!

I never did say when I was going to end the Rumormonger Idol Round 1 “who gets kicked off” poll, did I? Let’s make it the end of today – so if you haven’t voted yet, you still can!

And for today’s bonuses, a completely-unrelated-to-Rumormonger-Idol sprite strip, and a bad translation of today’s strip that changes Alternate Floyd’s son from a “he” to an “it.” (Well, ‘he’ is a robot, so I suppose that’s true enough!)

The Rumormonger Idol results aren’t in yet, but in today’s first bonus a sprite-rumormonger (with a hat) thinks he knows who’s getting kicked off! And today’s second bonus is a bad translation of today’s strip (this time by way of French on Babel Fish – the last one was German). Thanks for voting!
